Fiona has been working in teacher professional development in mathematics and statistics since 2008. She has worked for Cognition since January 2012 and is currently the National Leader: Accelerating Learning in Mathematics (ALiM). During this time she has worked alongside school leaders and teachers developing effective pedagogy, collaborative practices and accelerative learning strategies. She has also delivered a wide range of in-depth and flexible mathematics professional learning as well as presented at a range of mathematics and statistics workshops, both in New Zealand and Australia. She has a wide knowledge and understanding of best teaching and learning practices and is up to date with current research.
