Jacque Allen


Jacque is currently working as an education consultant in the area of innovative learning and learning with digital technologies, in both the primary and secondary sector. Her experience in teaching at both primary and secondary levels enables her to work across all curriculum areas and at all year levels. Jacque brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, having presented both nationally and internationally for many years in the education sector.

Jacque is passionate about the change management involved in innovative learning practice, utilising flexible learning spaces to capitalise on the advances in pedagogy both in New Zealand and around the world. Jacque provides a co-constructivist approach, enabling leaders and teachers to develop strategies for collaborative teaching practice, learning with digital technologies, curriculum re-design, learner agency and transforming learning spaces to raise student achievement. Jacque is a founding and current member of Learning Environments New Zealand (formally cefpi). She has recently completed research in relation to sustaining value within online communities; this research was part of her Masters of Management qualification with the University of Auckland Business School.
