Kim Bulluss

Kim is an experienced facilitator providing professional learning in mathematics and statistics since 2010.  She has worked with a diverse range of schools across Auckland building teacher and leader capability in mathematics pedagogical and content knowledge, culturally responsive pedagogies, data analysis, teacher inquiry and implementing acceleration programmes.

Kim works collaboratively with her schools to co-construct and deliver PLD that incorporates a blend of face to face and online support, responding to the needs and cultures of the students, teachers, school communities and whānau groups to improve learning outcomes for their students. All Kim’s work is based on current research to ensure an evidence based practice to build sustainability and support achievement outcomes for students. Kim regularly presents at PMA and MAV and has a particular interest in incorporating her love of music and the arts across the curriculum and into the delivery of mathematics. Prior to her role as facilitator, Kim was a primary teacher for 16 years and had led curriculum teams in literacy, numeracy and the arts.
