Cognition International Development
Enhancing Education Outcomes in Challenging Contexts
Helping to reduce global poverty and increase life chances is everyone’s concern. At Cognition Education, we’re committed to doing our part because we know that better education = better everything.
Cognition International Development works with ministries of education and funders in complex, remote and challenging contexts. We do this to address important problems and to build sustainable local capacity.
We have a long history of delivering education improvement programmes in the Pacific Islands and Asia – for contexts as diverse as Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga and Nauru. Our clients include the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and local corporate funders.
Through this important work we support local communities to achieve the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goal of inclusive, equitable and quality education for all.
Some of our recent projects include:
MFAT Pacific Leadership and Pacific Literacy development
Designing an enhanced school leadership for improved literacy outcomes in Solomon Islands, the Cook Islands and Tonga.
